This big strike happened about the same time as the hail (golf ball sized). Look closely for the house boat (see the next photo for the zoom). I wonder how long it was before their hearing resumed. Must have been just after they changed their underwear.

This was the first time that Stephenson had seen hail, and he got to see some pretty good hail.

At the same time as the lightning strike, this F2 tornado touched down just north of Coboconk, ON. If you click on 'map this' you can see exactly where. Environment Canada has stated that the winds were almost 200kph.
