This is the crack in the snow structure on a very steep section of the course. I adjusted the contrast so that you can see it.
Same picture, just zoomed out. Thanks to Brian Cooper for the picture.
Coop, on the right took this to remind his friends back in Calgary where it was about -30C.
Ted with the approach to the finish behind him on our walk over from the Villa. The wide open area above Ted's head is the damage from a Microburst that blew down acres of trees.
They were moving snow via helicopter again.
The start is on the right. The Red Bull building on the left is temporary and is built every year just for this event.
This is the steepest section of the course. I had to walk down this in the mud as I had to stay off the course.
Same area as the previous picture, but looking up hill. Skiers will hit over 140kph in this area.
Panorama view looking over the Slalom start at sunrise.
Building the video wall at the Slalom course. First time we got to use a helicopter.
Helicopter and the Slalom video wall
Interval 3. Andy standing on the beam and having to set up the 'Eye'. Normally you stand behind the 'eye'.
This was just after Andy had to throw me the Axe over the fence. I don't recommend being on the catching side!
